XVD CamCast Enterprise is an end-to-end IP-based audio/video content delivery and distribution solution. Applications include video on demand, broadcasting, distance learning and surveillance.

At the heart of this solution is the powerful CamCast Enterprise encoder, a compact encoder that connects directly to almost any video camera and IP-based network. The CamCast Enterprise encoder compresses analog (NTSC or PAL) video and analog audio for transmission over any IP-based network. Configuration and control is done through a web-based interface using any browser-equipped PC on the network.

Powered by XVD technology, the CamCast Enterprise encoder delivers DVD-resolution video at 30 fps for less bandwidth and storage than required by today's MJPEG-based video systems, which operate at only 2-5 fps!

How it Works:

The XVD CamCast Enterprise system is a combination of hardware and software modules that together provide an integrated solution for managing, recording and accessing cameras remotely through a secure web browser on a PC. Cameras can also be selected viewed on a standard TV with a remote control by using a CamCast decoder. The system can be tailored to address specific usage requirements and scales to support hundreds of cameras and users.
